The Steel M2000 is a universal rack system that can be installed on any Pickup Topper & Caps (drilling required). All steel systems are galvanized and powder coated for superior protection. The extra wide 6in X 1.5in mounting base, polyfoam gasket and 6in X 2in interior plate secures the rack system onto the vehicle. Cross bars are made with 14 gauge steel and mounting bases are made with 11 gauge steel. The Vantech H1 Aluminum system can hold up 600lb (evenly distributed). The Cross bars is 2in x 1in Reinforced extruded aluminum crossbars with internal structural support. The Cross bar is protected by non-slip plastic bar guard on top. Mounting upright are 3mm thick at the base and powder coated. The Mounting uprights are 8in extra wide base at 10.5in total height. The Base is welded complete onto upright post for complete seal. There are 4 x 1in eyehooks per mounting upright. Drilling is required to install system onto vehicle. Rubber cap on the upright post prevents wind noise and water leakage. The system Includes 5in ladder stopper to prevent ladder from sliding forward, Ladder stoppers are galvanized and rubber dipped. The system also includes 5.5in ladder guide for easy bungee and tie-down. Ladder guide are galvanized and rubber dipped.
